CyndisList: Nifty categories
28 April 2009 by Libbi.
Cyndi’s List last November added some very useful categories.
For example, an entire page is now devoted to genealogy wikis, including a definition of the term, at Wiki.
Some of the links on this page include:
- Creative Gene Wiki, For Genealogy Enthusiasts
Detroit history and genealogy. - GenWiki
Designed to become the main source for genealogy in the German-speaking areas of the world. - Jewish Genealogy Wiki
- Massachusetts Online Vital Records Research Guide
Complete list of Massachusetts towns and where their pre-1850 vital records may be found (for free if possible) online. - Mexico IGI Batch Numbers
Free WIKI style website that is organizing all the IGI’s batch numbers for the entire country of Mexico by state, town and year. Bilingual site also explains how to use batch numbers more effectively in searches.
What was the old Hispanic page became three:
The Caribbean / The West Indies
This is a logical and very useful refinement in Cyndi’s site.
